Frequently asked questions

How does renting a garment work?

Choose your dress and select your rental dates at checkout. For customers in Toronto and the GTA, you have the option for your dress to be delivered by a courier, arriving the next day, right when you need it.

Wear and enjoy!

After wearing, simply place the dress inside the dust bag provided, put into the original box and seal it up.

Drop off at your nearest Canada Post with the provided QR code.

No cleaning, no printing labels, no stress.

What if the item doesn't fit?

If your item doesn’t work, contact us within 24 hours of delivery at hello@loopthewardrobe.com. Return it within that same 24-hour window, unworn and in original condition, and we’ll refund the rental and cleaning portion of your order. Shipping is non-refundable.

As always, refunds are subject to inspection and our Terms.

When will I get my order?

We ship in advance so your piece arrives on or just before your rental start date.

Live in Toronto? Choose Next-Day Courier shipping option.

Elsewhere in Ontario, we ship via Canada Post Xpresspost (usually 1–2 business days between major cities).

We handle the timing — you handle the plans.

What if I damage my item?

Normal wear is expected — that’s the nature of rentals. Any signs of wear that comes out with dry cleaning is covered.

If you’ve added our optional Loop Wear & Tear protection, small, accidental damage (like minor reversible stains, loose seams, or zipper issues) is covered.

For significant damage — including permanent rips, staining, burns, alterations, or loss — repair or replacement fees may apply in line with our Terms.

Do I need to clean my rental before returning it?

Nope! We take care of dry cleaning upon return, and these fees are built into the cost of the rental.

When is my rental due back?

You must drop off your dress at the designated shipping carrier within your rental period - this helps keep things moving. The Rental Period ends on the date specified in your booking confirmation.

Can I alter my item if it doesn't fit?

To preserve the integrity and longevity of our rentals, we do not provide or allow alterations (including the use of temporary hem tape).

Can you send me a dress today?

If you're in a pinch, please reach out to us at hello@loopthewardrobe.com and we will try our best to arrange a same-day dress delivery. Although not always guaranteed, we may be able to accommodate!
